Model United Nations

Leon High School’s Model UN club serves the purpose of promoting an interest in and an understanding of international politics and early involvement in more complex, worldwide issues. Model UN provides a forum for students to improve their public speaking and professional writing skills, as well as interact with not only other students at Leon High School, but students from middle and high schools in and around the Leon County area. 

Leon’s MUN club has participated in many different professional conferences that simulate official United Nations conferences. Our MUN members have received awards from these conferences for their impressive character, writing skills, and presentation abilities.
