How to Make a Club at Leon
-
The first step to creating a club is finding a topic or group that there is not currently a club built on. Browse the Club Catalog page to find a list of all official clubs at Leon High School.
-
Recruit a Leon High School employee to sponsor your club.
-
Create a document that has your club’s bylaws and constitution. Email this document to Mr. Stewart (joshua.stewart@leonschools.net) and the ICC President (iccleonhighschool@gmail.com).
-
Once your bylaws and constitution have been approved by Mr. Stewart, you will be assigned a date to present your club idea to the ICC. Your presentation should cover the purpose and significance of your club, as well as why there is not a current club at Leon that covers the same topic(s).
-
After your presentation, the club officers that are present at the ICC meeting will vote on whether the club will be an official club at Leon High School.
-
If your club passes, you will then fill out a Club Charter Form (available in room 305 or linked below). You must turn in a physical copy of your Club Charter Form, bylaws, and constitution to Mr. Stewart (room 305).
-
Congratulations on creating your very own club! You have created a new community at Leon High School that will leave a lasting impact for years to come.
