Rho Kappa (Social Studies National Honor Society)

Rho Kappa is a national social studies honor society that brings together students passionate about history, civic engagement, and community service. The club inspires over 100 volunteers through history-based projects both in and out of school, including tutoring, mentoring for National History Day, and organizing events around historical holidays at local cemeteries. Members also volunteer at museums, engage in outreach, and attend lectures from professionals in the field of social studies. Rho Kappa aims to foster scholarship, leadership, and a deeper understanding of history, with plans to expand into research-based initiatives exploring history-related careers.
